Stamping and Embossing Machine – RK 2530-E Heavy Duty (Stamping + Embossing + Die Cutting)

The RK 2530-E is a heavy duty flatbed machine with three finishing functions in sequence: foil stamping, stamping with embossing, and die cutting. The web moves intermittently under electronic stepper motor control, stops, and each station works on the stationary section before the web advances.

The two stamping units each cover 300 mm x 250 mm, with a four colour stamping area of 300 mm x 125 mm for multi-foil designs. Foil is fed across the web by an electronic stepper motor system. A two colour stamping and embossing option lets one station both stamp and raise the design. The die cut area is 300 mm x 300 mm. A 5 HP three phase AC variable speed main motor drives the machine, the control is fully digital with a production counter and auto stop, and an auto sheet cutting unit delivers sheets.

Two Stamping Units

Two stamping units of 300 mm x 250 mm each allow two foil colours on one label, or foil and embossing at separate stations, in one pass. A four colour stamping area of 300 mm x 125 mm is available for designs that use several foils.

Stamping and Embossing Option

A two colour stamping and embossing option raises the design while it is being foiled, giving the combined foil-emboss effect used on premium labels and cards.

Die Cutting in the Same Pass

The die cut area of 300 mm x 300 mm cuts the stamped and embossed web to shape. The waste matrix is removed by the motorised waste rewinding system.

Stepper Motor Foil Feeding

Cross foil feeding is driven by an electronic stepper motor system, advancing the foil a set distance each stroke for consistent placement and controlled foil usage.

Stepper Motor Paper Feeding

The paper feed is also under electronic stepper motor control, so the web advances the same length on every stroke and the stamping, embossing and die cutting stations stay in line.

Heavy Duty Build

At approximately 3000 kg the machine is built to take the pressure that embossing and heavy foil coverage demand, stroke after stroke, without losing accuracy.

Auto Sheet Cutting Unit

Labels, tags and cards that are supplied in sheets rather than rolls come off the auto sheet cutting unit ready to pack.

Digital Control With Production Counter

The machine control is fully digital electronic with a production counter and auto stop, so each job runs to the set quantity.

The roll is loaded on the auto unloading unit and the web is threaded through the stamping, embossing and die cutting stations to the rewinding or sheet cutting unit. On each stroke the stepper motor feed advances the web the set distance and stops. The first stamping unit presses heated foil onto the label; the second stamping unit applies a second foil colour or, with the embossing option, stamps and raises the design at the same time. The stepper driven cross foil feed advances the foil between strokes.

The web then moves to the die cutting station, where the label or card shape is cut within the 300 mm x 300 mm area. The motorised waste rewinding system pulls the matrix away. Finished work is either wound on the auto rewinding unit or cut into sheets by the auto sheet cutting unit. The production counter counts each stroke and stops the machine when the job quantity is reached.
