RK F 320 / 1 Colour Flexo Rotary Label Printing Machine With IR Dryer, Slitting and Up & Down Rewinding

The RK F 320 / 1 Colour is the entry point of RK's F 320 tower series: one flexo printing unit with a ceramic anilox roller and individual motorized anilox system, IR drying, and a full converting section. Because it prints one colour and converts inline, it works both as a one colour label press and as a die-cutting and slitting machine for plain labels.

The up & down rewinding unit winds the slit rolls onto two shafts, so several label rolls are produced side by side from one web, and the mechanical shafts in 1", 1.5" and 3" sizes let the operator wind onto the core size the customer's printer needs.

One Colour Flexo Printing With IR Dryer

A single printing unit with a ceramic anilox roller prints the logo, text or background colour, and the IR dryer sets the ink before die cutting. A UV dryer is available as an extra option.

Online Rotary Die Cutting With Waste Matrix Rewinding

The rotary die-cutting unit cuts the label shape inline and rewinds the waste matrix, so the machine produces die-cut labels on the liner.

Online Slitting Unit With Air Blower

The slitting unit divides the web into individual label rolls, and an air blower clears the trimmed waste away from the knives.

Up & Down Rewinding on 1", 1.5" and 3" Shafts

Two rewinding shafts take alternate slit rolls, and mechanical shafts in three core sizes cover the core diameters used by barcode and thermal transfer printers.

Ultrasonic Web Guide

The unwinding unit carries an ultrasonic based electronic web guide that keeps the web centred into the printing and die-cutting units.

Low Power Consumption

The machine draws 4 HP on 3 phase with a 3 HP main motor.

The label roll (up to 600 mm diameter) is loaded on the unwinding unit and the ultrasonic web guide keeps it centred. The web passes through the printing unit, where the ceramic anilox roller meters ink onto the plate and the plate prints the single colour. The IR dryer sets the ink.

The web then enters the online rotary die-cutting unit, which cuts the label shape and strips the waste matrix onto its own rewind. The slitting unit divides the web into individual label rolls, with the air blower clearing the trim. The slit rolls wind alternately on the up & down rewinding shafts, on 1", 1.5" or 3" cores as required, and the finished reels are unloaded from the shafts. Speed is set on the variable speed drive.
