RK Label Dispenser Machine – Semi-Automatic Label Dispenser for Rolls up to 100 mm
01 — Overview
Label Dispenser Machine Manufacturer in India
On a packing line where labels are applied by hand, the slowest part of the job is not sticking the label. It is peeling it off the roll. Fingers fumble at the edge, the liner tears, and a stack of pre-peeled labels curls up before it is used. A label dispenser removes that step. It presents the next label with its edge already lifted, so the operator lifts it and applies it in one motion.
The RK Label Dispenser Machine is a compact, low weight unit that handles label rolls up to 100 mm wide. A sensor detects when a label has been taken and automatically advances the next one, then stops until it is removed. MCB control protects the electrics and a back side cover keeps the mechanism enclosed. RK Label Printing Machinery Pvt. Ltd. manufactures it in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
This page is for packers, small manufacturers, pharmacies, food units and print shops who apply labels by hand and want a simple label dispenser machine that keeps up with the operator.

03 — What Is It
What Is the RK Label Dispenser Machine?
A label dispenser is a small motorised unit that pulls the liner of a self-adhesive label roll around a sharp peel plate. As the liner bends back over the edge, the label, which is stiffer, continues straight and separates from the backing. The label is left hanging on the plate with its front edge free, ready to be picked.
Where a label applicator machine sticks the label onto the product automatically, a dispenser stops at the peeling stage and leaves the application to the operator. This makes it the practical choice for products of mixed shapes and sizes, for low and medium volumes, and for any line where a person is already handling each item.
04 — Key Features
Key Features of the RK Label Dispenser Machine
Maximum Label Width 100 mm
The dispenser accepts rolls carrying labels up to 100 mm wide. That covers the great majority of product labels, barcode labels, price labels and batch labels used in Indian packing rooms.
Auto Cut-Off Sensor
A sensor at the peel edge sees when a label is present and cuts the drive off. The moment the operator takes the label, the sensor restarts the feed and the next label is peeled and presented. The operator never touches a switch.
MCB Control
The electrics are protected by a miniature circuit breaker, so a fault trips the machine safely instead of damaging the drive or the wiring.
Low Weight
The unit is light enough for one person to move between work stations or to store on a shelf when the labelling job is finished.
Back Side Cover
A cover on the rear of the machine encloses the mechanism, keeps dust off the liner path and protects the operator from moving parts.
Simple Roll Loading
The roll sits on a spindle, the liner is threaded around the peel plate and onto the take-up, and the machine is ready. No tools or adjustments beyond the label width are needed.
05 — How It Works
How Does the RK Label Dispenser Work?
The operator loads a roll of self-adhesive labels on the spindle and threads the liner over the peel plate and back to the take-up. When the machine is switched on, the take-up pulls the liner over the sharp edge of the plate. The liner bends around the edge, but the label is too stiff to follow it, so the label peels away and stands proud of the plate with its front edge free.
The sensor sees the presented label and stops the feed. The operator lifts the label off the plate and applies it to the product. As soon as the sensor no longer sees a label, the drive restarts, advances the liner and peels the next label into position. The used liner winds onto the take-up and is thrown away at the end of the roll. The cycle continues at whatever pace the operator works, with no button to press.
06 — Applications
Applications of the Label Dispenser Machine
- Hand labelling on packing lines – product, price and barcode labels applied by operators.
- Pharmacy and pharma packing – batch and dispensing labels on bottles, boxes and strips.
- Food and spice units – ingredient and MRP labels on pouches and jars.
- Cosmetics and small manufacturers – short runs and many SKUs where an applicator is not justified.
- Warehouses and dispatch – address and shipping labels on cartons.
- Print shops – dispensing sample labels and finishing short label jobs.
07 — Materials
What Materials Can It Handle?
The RK Label Dispenser is built for self-adhesive labels on a paper or film liner, in rolls with a label width up to 100 mm. Paper labels, chromo labels, thermal barcode labels and film labels all peel in the same way as long as the label is stiffer than its liner. Labels with very light face stock or unusual liners should be sent to RK for a check before ordering.
09 — Why RK
Why Choose RK Label Machines?
RK Label Printing Machinery Pvt. Ltd. has manufactured label printing and converting machinery in Ahmedabad, Gujarat since 1995, runs three manufacturing units and supplies customers in 23+ countries. The label dispenser is one of the smallest machines RK makes, and it is built by the same factory that makes the presses, die cutters and slitters producing the label rolls it dispenses. That means the dispenser is designed around real label rolls, real liners and real packing rooms, with spares and support from one supplier.
10 — Selection Guide
How to Select the Right Label Dispenser
- Label width: the RK dispenser takes labels up to 100 mm wide. Measure your widest label.
- Roll size: check that your roll diameter and core fit the spindle; share the roll details with RK.
- Volume: for hand application at operator pace, a dispenser is enough. If you need labels placed on the product automatically, ask about a label applicator machine instead.
- Work station: the unit is low weight and bench mounted, so it can sit beside the packer.
- Power: it runs on a normal single phase socket with MCB protection.
11 — Price
